Instagram has ~ 500 million? DAUs that it's pushing to Threads, so it's gonna be very hard to compete with that in any sustainable way in the short-term, but Bluesky will win in the long-term imo, it's just a far better user experience than Threads, people will switch between and end up Bluesky

Also, as more and more services are built on #ATprotocol#ATmosphere. Even if they don’t use Bluesky itself that much, there may be other services that they do use.

i see it as "big bang", large scale migrations are where bluesky will win. smaller trickles are where threads can win because it can juice up the numbers with all of the skinner-box techniques it can deploy within instagram
