I bridged my account to #bsky#federation ! The fediverse is becoming even more bigger now thanks to the AtProtocol :D

I've always wanted an alternative to Facebook's events built on RSS, but maybe ATProtocol is the way to go

Once again, potentially the coolest thing about Bluesky/ATprotocol is that they've built a system that on the front end *feels* just like old Twitter. But underneath the hood is built to give you way, way more freedom. Paul's thread explains just one part of that.

i still have a project brewing in my head of a masto-fork that lets you post to ATProtocol and ActivityPub at the same time. to bridge bsky and fediverse stuff with one account.

Somos una web.🕸️🌐 Maravilloso :3 (Para el que no me entienda, paul un desarrollador de bluesky explica porque los nombres de usuario son dominios) Dominio = dirección de una página web otakubinary.neocities.org#atprotocol#atproto

Would be cool to see u work on stuff using the atprotocol. Did you ever record videos on stuff you discovered or favorite features?

I like the custom feeds aspect of it here. So I can find non popular feeds too. I wish it was interconnected to other fediverse networks. Personally I like the atprotocol better. I also don’t have to run my own server to have a custom handle.

This is something I can't really understand, ActivityPub (open standard for decentralized social media) supports locking accounts... Bluesky made their own version called ATProtocol and decided to not include support for that... it's really stupid.

That's really good to know. I saw the documentation for ATProtocol, but must've missed the rest (other than PDS). Good to be corrected!
