I've been looking at Threads here and there and I must say it's been very funny to see dopes posting things like "I hear that Brazil went to BlueSky... why not Threads???" with like zero ability to understand that Threads is ass.

I made an account on Threads recently. I had to make an instagram first, but then sign up for threads. Then I was banned for violating their terms of service because they wanted my phone number. No thanks. Making an account on Bluesky takes minutes and it's great.

Threads is a social network moderated by your relatives on instagram. 🤣

My mind really can't comprehend who in their right mind would actually use threads, let alone migrate from another social media. They really tried to copy twitter without knowing what made twitter be what it once was.

Brazilian here Bsky is so much similar to the twitter we had a decade ago, while Threads is like the X algorithm got even worse - plus your parents follow you.

threads had potential, but gosh its so.. corporate friendly, so soulless. Only rage bait, and boomer memes on there. I tried showing the algorithm that hey do you see 9 people having the same post, what about dont show me all of them. Its not even about the lack of content..

I tried to use threads and in the beginning I think it was Okay but now it's like the worst of Facebook quality text posts. Engagement bait, bad takes, and occasionally somebody asking for help and getting the most incorrect responses. Just low quality posting.
