hmm - maybe? Is any given 3-hour session not enough to complete a dungeon? I haven't played it before

My memory's a bit hazy because it's been many years since I played, but as I recall each session you'd do a dungeon, but would play the same characters through multiple dungeons, retaining loot etc. as you went forward.
