I dunno; āwalked out on a movieā? Definitely means you left before it ended. But āI walked out of the movie going āwtfāā means you saw the whole movie and I think has for a while?
As a talented guy gone wrong once rapped: Iām surviving! I was drinking, now Iām drivingā¦ Seriously, though: very busy but ok! Howās by you?
Yeah, understandably, Iām not sure anyone else had the latitude to do what Kirby didāto jump companies and in both cases continue to create new work, not justify his page rate by being on the biggest titles.
All of them get the job done, but Iām surprised the top banger is that x-men reprint issue with Banshee. What a design!
Michael Ontkean shouldāve gotten a cutof the profits! (I had to double check to see if he was a known actor by ā77 andā¦yep!)
Ah, I meant both *at* the same time. Unless there was overlap in publication , I donāt think Bendis had an X-Men title and Action on the stands the same month/week?
Yeah, Jules Feifferās essay in The Comic Book Heroes is super-instructive in this regard! Mentions Grant and the whole relationship between Clark and Lois, The Spirit and his assorted femme fatales, etc.
People did not sleep on this!
It seems to me this free comic is marketing in about the same way the family from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are gracious hosts. Years of taken-for-granted assumptions have created a nonsensical object to the outside world unless you understand the years of inbreeding that produced it. 4/4
Is there a full page ad for Joker: The World at the end of the comic with the other full page ads for Batman trades? Also no. 3/x
