Neat new study creating a much-needed measure of readiness to use digital health, amongst a diverse sample. It identified 2 factors: technical readiness, and beliefs/concerns about quality of care. I’m excited to use this in my own research going forward. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam... 🩺🧪📈📉
This qualitative study develops and performs preliminary validity analysis of a tool to measure patients’ digital health readiness.
Academics! Where do you prefer or hope to publish? Have a few minute to tell us? My group at CU Boulder is surveying the publication preferences of academics in a pairwise comparison survey called Publish or Comparish. → tinyurl.com/PubPrefs Thanks for considering & pls share with colleagues!
Very cool! I hadn't heard of JOT before. Thank you for sharing this.
Worrying stats on how few Americans plan to take the winter vaccines for flu, RSV, covid. More must be done to explain why these shots are important and tackle mis/disinformation. 🧪
Study also found that 37% who have gotten vaccines in the past do not plan on getting them this year
How to increase vaccination rates: 1. On a systems level - make vaccines easy & free 2. As a clinician - talk to patients about why these vaccines matter 3. As an individual - share when you get your shots (normalize it), & share trusted info (⬇️ long covid, autoimmune dx, hospitalization, etc!) 🩺🧪
