It wasn't long ago the NFL said it would never have a team in Vegas so long as it was legal to bet on its games there. NBA openly worried about MJ's gambling. I think it ended up being less about TV/digital ads and more the unexpected way leagues went all-in on gambling partnerships after being so harsh on its effect on the sport. MLB in particular has shocked me. At the very least, restricting sports broadcasts from gambling ads and sponsor partnerships would help. Televised sports are unwatchable right now because of gambling partnerships.
