recently i even turned on notifications (something i try to minimize for all apps) while waiting for bro to respond, but then snap torched my trust by sending me push noties for things like recommended friends (absolute strangers) and my brother's gf's public story. no, just no.

1. a friend who eschews all other social media is on there & 2. my much younger siblings seem more inclined to answer my messages on snap than anywhere else. generally not a fan of read receipts but i love knowing if/when they get my dms because my texts often seem to disappear into a black hole
