One time my place got flooded by my upstairs neighbors when they broke a pipe. That rebuild took two and a half months, and it was an isolated amount of damage…and it was also clean water that started getting dried out on day 1. Soooo…yeah. Expand that exponentially and it’s bad, bad news.
Probably. Subscriptions may make sense for large enterprises with ongoing support needs, but they never, ever did for individuals, and I’m sure there’s a whole range of disgruntled folks in the middle who never wanted to be dragged into it, either.
