What food would you take to the moon? End of question. Hasn’t netted a bad answer yet.
May’s encore—see y’all there, beloveds! 💡✨💡✨
Happy May Day to the workers of the world! Today is about joy, solidarity, and rebellion, and has been since a Black anarchist named Lucy Parsons led the country’s first May Day march in 1886. The cops called her “more dangerous than a thousand rioters.” Be dangerous, beloveds 🖤
I've survived all my worst days because of poetry. Not an exaggeration. Sometimes, you read poetry, and you feel seen. That shock of recognition is everything. Sometimes, you write poetry, and you save yourself. In myriad ways.
One of my oldest comics about appreciating snakes. The snakes are: gray-banded kingsnake, smooth greensnake, baby north american racer, timber rattlesnake.
Me right now, too. Thank goodness for the “pocket prescription.”
Today has been hard on a lot of my friends. And again, I am reminded that all we can do is care and love and show up for each other. Without hesitation. Care fiercely. Love wildly.
