Do faculty have to remain neutral in the classroom if one of the parties is attacking them in a way that directly invokes fascism? Asking for me.
He says “professors are the enemy” he means knowledge and education though doesn’t he. A stupid population is easier to manipulate and control.
The school inviting such should also be questioned too.
No they don't have to remain neutral and I would totally suggest using the benign but useful approach of describing them, their policies or lack there of, and motivations as weird and undesirable.
Are you required to remain neutral in the classroom otherwise? It seems like barring professors from explaining the conclusions they draw from facts and the opinions their investigations have led them to defeats the whole purpose of professors.
