That’s 3% of the entire country’s population. An equivalent US crowd would be close to 10 million people.
So, what you're saying is...that in the real world that is not the imagined reality of some of our professional colleagues on this supposedly much better website, "the killers in Tel Aviv" are not actually calling for the ethnic cleansing of the 27% of the Israeli population that is not Jewish? 🤔
Maybe we will get to see if all of those 3 percent stickers I've seen on jacked up pick-ups are correct.
More like 30 million
That's just the Tel Aviv protest. The organizers report a total of 500,000 people at protests across Israel.
Getting very close to what history tells us is necessary for major concessions/changes in government/etc. (I don't think those things are mechanistic, by the way, but in democracies and even hybrid regimes usually something happens when you hit those numbers)
So, similar in scale to US and European protests to the Iraq invasion in 2003, and similarly outweighed by our neighbors’ majority support for bombing and mauling Arabs? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_Febr...
And reportedly a half million in total across the country.
