Seriously, fellow British peeps, go and vote on the 4th. Don't take it for granted that the Labour landslide victory is a done deal and your vote doesn't matter. Brexit was such a catastrofuck because half the people who had a right to vote on it couldn't be arsed because OBVIOUSLY it was done deal.

The Brexit turnout was 72%, higher than any election since 1992. But in London and the South that day it was raining like God was planning another flood. We canvassers were in wellies, ponchos, and any gear we could find. I've rarely seen that much rain. www.statista.com/statistics/1...

In the UK's general election of 2019, voter turnout was 67.3 percent, a 1.5 percent drop compared with the previous general election in 2017.

Already voted by post weeks ago. Not that there's any doubt which way my central London constituency will go.

I certainly don't want a labour landslide or we will be back in the position we're in now. We need alternative parties to contribute, including as many independents as possible to gain seats. I detest labour under its current management, so to ensure a fairer democracy & not another dictatorship.

I admit I'm assuming all my fellow British peeps who follow me and/or are reading this would just simply never vote Tory.

You never stop short of the finish line. Hell, don't even slow down to look over your shoulder.

I am very much looking forward to going in person to vote out the current Welsh Secretary ☺️

Important message, British peeps, please take heed! (Side note, voter turnout was over 72% so it was just over a quarter who couldn't be arsed. With a margin of 1.3 million it was a very important quarter.)

Remember that Simpsons episode where Bart runs for class president? The majority are so sure he'll win that they just don't bother voting, assuming the others will, and Martin wins with two votes because only he and Wendell actually bothered.

Chorley constituency is an exception. Here, Lindsay Hoyle WILL win again and as he's speaker of the house, our vote literally does not matter. We have no say whatsoever in the running of the country.
