So difficult for decentralized projects to optimize for signup conversion bc of this pattern. I imagine bsky could be the default server and then, since you can transfer accounts, you could say "looks like your friends are on <server>, want to transfer?"

For now, I think of bsky server as the cool bar that everyone hangs out in, and the emerging instances as the dope cool rooms in the back that you get brought to once you meet the people in the know, who take you there 🕺
