The first MICRONAUTS Epic Collection, with all of the 12-issue Michael Golden run -- plus 6 issues by Chaykin, 2 by Broderick and an annual by Ditko -- comes out next July. Now I need an ATARI FORCE collection.

Cover to MICRONAUTS EPIC COLLECTION: THE ORIGINAL MARVEL YEARS - THEY CAME FROM INNER SPACE.

It's a very old, very classist take on art and people don't even realize that when they parrot it. The gentleman who does art as a hobby and lives off his inheritance: profound, pure, a genius. The working man who does art for money: disgusting, vulgar, degrading the medium.

The people making this tech have no empathy or concern for others. None. Just like their robots. Don't include them in any royal 'we'. THEY only care about themselves, THEIR wealth, THEIR power, no matter what breathless marketing bullshit THEY spew on the rest of us. This is 100% Us vs. Them.

Sharing my wing tutorial for bluesky people! It's light and focuses on propatagium, something that I often found missing when working on client designs. Lastly, check the Alt. text for some commentary. Hope it's helpful! #artsky#tutorial#art#wings#sciart

The image shows oversimplified and idealised wings. Great for some fantasy settings but the bone structure is totally awry.
This image focuses on the leading edge of the wing - the propatagium. It's a membrane that fills the gap between the wrist and shoulder, creating a nice aerodynamic shape.
Final image shows skeletal schematic of the flying vertebrates forelimb: the bat, the bird, the pterosaur. With a funny comparison to the human hand.

The goal of my Star Trek art series is to eventually gather so much muscle memory I can draw anything from the Trek universe anytime I want. Its a dream I had when I was 12. So this is my gift to the kid I used to be.

It’s just three cylinders, three funny shaped boxes, a couple of half-spheres, and a big disc with some lumpy bits. You got this.
