The people making this tech have no empathy or concern for others. None. Just like their robots. Don't include them in any royal 'we'. THEY only care about themselves, THEIR wealth, THEIR power, no matter what breathless marketing bullshit THEY spew on the rest of us. This is 100% Us vs. Them.

It’s just three cylinders, three funny shaped boxes, a couple of half-spheres, and a big disc with some lumpy bits. You got this.

Oh hell yes, the score! That relentless pounding beat as the Planet Killer gets closer and closer! Brilliant work by the composer.

Spock’s calm, patient demeanor, but seething with anger beneath the surface, as Decker recklessly attacks the planet killer, is Peak Spock. Gives him one of his best lines—‘Vulcans never bluff.’

This is also my favorite episode of all Star Trek. Commodore Decker was a Captain Kirk without plot armor, who made a catastrophic mistake. Decker’s guilt, anguish, and desperation has haunted me for a long time.

I’d suggest TOS Enterprise and go from there. You mentioned muscle memory recently. If there’s one thing I can draw at will, it’s a basic NCC-1701. Only took forty years of practice!

Simply magnificent

I saw the MST3K version first, and honestly, I wanted them to stop making fun of it halfway through. I love this batshit movie.
