Boris Johnson was one of the worst PM’s this country has ever had. Incompetent, self-serving and dishonest. The only thing worse is the continual platforming of him by the MSM……they clearly hate this country and us.

I have campaigned for science-based climate action for over 20 years. I have been forced to take legal action because governments are not genuinely taking the necessary actions.
Maybe think about contributing to this crowd Justice action in relation to the Carbon Capture “Plan” Bollox. I shall attach screenshots of a 🧵 on 🐦 by Si Oldridge @sioldridge.bsky.social explaining why THIS Carbon capture plan relying on public funds to give grants until I can find one on here
The first large-scale industrial carbon capture and storage facility in the US is reportedly leaking. The CCS operation at ADM's Decatur facility is meant to demonstrate that the technology can be deployed safely. 😶 www.reuters.com/sustainabili...
The agribusiness company Archer-Daniels-Midland has paused injection of carbon dioxide at its Illinois carbon capture and storage (CCS) site after discovering a potential leak deep underground, the company confirmed on Wednesday.
Final version of my paper on the GHG footprint of LNG exports from the US is now published. Conclusion? LNG has a larger climate impact than any other fossil fuel, including coal. doi.org/10.1002/ese3...
Has the UK govt been sold a £22bn bag of magic beans that are simply ... beans? British politicians have a poor track record on this. Consider Drax, the largest CO2 emitter in the country, which receives billions in public funding for burning wood.
Reminder: at the heart of the UK govt's CCS plan is an enormous new gas power plant being built by BP and Equinor. According to the project's own claims, even if the CCS tech works as planned, the plant will still emit 20 million tons of CO2.
Government told Net Zero Teesside gas scheme will be massive polluter despite its carbon capture claims
On that £22bn CCS investment:
Skeptics are rightly asking: what if BP and Equinor don't pull it off? What if, frankly, they don't intend to? Would any rational person be surprised? What recourse would we have? After all, as @amywestervelt.bsky.social has shown:
The fossil fuel industry’s carbon capture bamboozle, explained.
Musk also wants to be seen as funny and a genius. Sadly for him despite all his money he is neither and the more he tweets the more he proves this to everyone else.
