The political press’s efforts to rationalize Trump’s incoherent statements are eroding our shared reality and threatening informed democracy.

Unpopular opinion but I think the Winter Fuel Allowance should be scrapped completely. Its the wrong mechanism to deal with what is in reality abt profiteering by energy barons. We have an energy price cap, we need to use it, and lower it.
