I was intrigued and excited by new research using CAR T cells to tackle severe autoimmune disease. A few folks asked for an explainer so here is my attempt! Hope it’s useful 🧪 #ImmunoSky

I’m curious about how strong TCR signals (low epitope load-high affinity/high epitope load-mid affinity) relate to T cell fate. Anyone have new publications (or opinions!!) to share on that topic? #Immunosky

I haven't seen a starter pack of immunologists, so I created one. Apologies if I overlooked folks. #ImmunoSkygo.bsky.app/PY5tCas

Oh boy, #ICDS24 in Sheffield is very much on! Incredible to see what has happened since last Celiac disease meeting. Much focus on Triggers, drivers, Viruses, B cells and more. It was an honor to give the scientific opening talk with the amazing @JonkersIris @ISSCD22 And this was only day 1…!
