It’s also always funny that they assume gasoline and diesel supply chains will remain stable and consistent in their imagined self-caused apocalypse. For people constantly fantasizing about causing war zone conditions, they sure aren’t ready for a single life change.

After hurricane Ida it was extremely funny to watch these guys realize there was no gasoline for their generators. Most of them bolted for motels out of the disaster area. The rest sat in long lines at a handful of stations with truckbeds & trailers loaded with gas cans, raging that gas was rationed

And the few "smart" enough to stockpile will realise that gasoline does in fact go bad! If you want grid-independent electricity, get a big battery and solar panels on your roof
