Standby battery life If I just take the AVP off, and donāt plug it in. And then try to use it 24h later, the battery will certainly be dead. This frequently disrupts my likelihood to pick up the device and use it
I guess you should of known better when you used that word š
It seems to be working if I connect when Iām in range, and then move further away, things still work. But then Iām getting stifled by input to the remote Mac. In theory, my Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad could be connected to the AVP, and be shared with the Mac - but thatās not working consistently.
What I really want, is to be able to work on my Mac mini thatās down in my office. But Iād like to more conveniently connect to it from the AVP from any room of the house. So far, this isnāt workin great. Technically, youāre suppose to be within 10m (Bluetooth range), and you need to be to connect.
Working on a Mac via AVP Iām really interested in using the AVP as my primary workspaceā¦ but currently itās still too limited to fully exist natively inside the AVP, so you really need to connect to your Mac. If youāre using a MacBook thatās right in front of you, this really works great. Butā¦
When it does, it seems like it causes weirdness with how the trackpad behaves when controlling native AVP stuff.
So it doesnāt seem quite trueā¦ the Bluetooth touch pad and eye tracking are working well together, until you include a Mac Virtual Display, with keyboard and mouse sharing into the mix. In theory, the trackpad should be able to control the remote Mac, and that does sometimes work, butā¦
External Inputs Attaching a Bluetooth keyboard to the AVP works terrific. Exactly as youād expect, and great having a proper keyboard input. However, a Bluetooth trackpad sucks. It basically disabled eye tracking and pinching to click on things in favor of the trackpad. Hmmmm actuallyā¦..
**Image Editing** I really wish you could quickly and easily edit images on the Vision Pro, specifically screenshots I grab from within it. So far the easiest way I found without searching for more software is to use Keynote. It works to crop an image (using a mask), and then you can copy/paste
