Otherwise, Plaintiffs will or may use this assignment for an improper, political (or, at least, collateral) purpose, creating the confusing, and inaccurate, appearance that Defendant is now somehow suing candidate Trump, thereby generating an accompanying, and unnecessary, media frenzy. Plainly, the value of this claim will not depreciate between now and November 6, 2024.

On Friday, May 25, 2018, the Mayor celebrated his 74th birthday at his New York City residence with family and friends. He asked his son, Andrew, who was at the time living in Washington, DC, to fly up to New York for the gathering, saying he had something important he wanted to give him. Andrew attended the party with his wife. After midnight and the departure of the guests, the Mayor summoned Andrew and his wife to the master bedroom. There he opened a dresser drawer and removed four Yankees World Series rings— one for each of the Yankees' titles in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000, and each encased in a separate wooden display box—which the Mayor had just reobtained from his then-wife in their divorce proceedings. The Mayor said to Andrew, in substance and in part, "I told you when I got these that they would be yours someday, and I want to give them to you now." Andrew had spent many nights as a child and young adult watching Yankees games with his father and bonding with him

"Turnover" of the claim would not mean that the Court would order Trump to pay Giuliani $2 million. Turnover would mean that the bankruptcy creditors (Freeman & Moss) could assert the claim against Trump as if they were Giuliani.
