Between Kamala, Green Party's Jill Stein, and the surprising Libertarian Chase Oliver, I'm glad to see multiple pro-LGBT stances amongst the candidates.
I wish I could tell KH how important it is that she (first wins & then) does everything in her power to undo the harm that has been done to trans people. As you know, my trans family members & I left the country for our safety. If she doesn't win, we'll never be able to return, even to visit.
Great piece and certainly more nuanced than what I have seen previously on the issue and Harris. I hope that we see action from her on this front when she wins (I'm trying to will it not being cocky lol) And hope she can prove herself to her biggest detractors amongst us, it'd be a monumental win
