Got both of these comments on this semester's student evaluations, so who's to say if it was a successful one? “This class was a major slay in every way.” “Sometimes your feedback made me cry…Going forward, maybe rethink using so many exclamation points, as it feels like you are yelling at us”

One of a couple ironic things about this signage on GSU's campus is that the only thing preventing people from enjoying the campus greenway has been the as-yet-unfinished construction on a full half of it (pictured in background) that has been ongoing since the Fall semester 🙄

Apparently my institution is doing a national search for a "Vice Provost for Faculty Success" Me thinks that it would be more effective for faculty success to just redistribute this position's like $300k+ salary to existing faculty (and our even more underpaid grad students)

why is it so damn hard to get undergrads engaged long-term in my mapping the Real Housewives of Atlanta project?!?! more than any other thing in my life, this is the one that makes me feel most out of touch with the youths. 😞

Thanks to the last month or so of press my research has gotten, I've now had multiple people emailing me asking me how they can possibly avoid competing with corporate landlords for buying a home in metro Atlanta. Things are bleak out there, folks

Anyone else gone to see Isbell in the last couple months and think that having both Cover Me Up and If We Were Vampires on the setlist was *a choice*? Asking for a friend.
