for all the "bluesky is dead" comments from people who don't use the app, i had noticeably more activity at *500 followers* than my twitter account with 7k followers. i now have LITERALLY DOUBLE my twitter followers. it's hard to even put it in words how much more real the experience is here.

yeah the bsky experience is refreshing, interacting with real people and not just a dead parade of clout hounds trying to game the system there's some of them too but they've missed the plot

It's hilarious how they pop in... do nothing... nothign happens so they assume that nothing IS happening and leave again.

i have slightly more followers now than i did on twitter after more than ten years on that site--and i'm interacting with people *way* more on bluesky

same. my old twitter account allegedly has 85k followers. i see higher levels of engagement with 1.2k followers here

i have way more followers than i ever did on twitter, and i talk to strangers on here and have positive conversations with them more than i would have dared on twitter. it’s interesting!
