I mean her whole study was conditioning on the outcome variable, so I think of it as mostly reflecting selection bias. Also, she has a conflict of interest as someone who shares the religious lifestyle she’s advocating. Overall, it doesn’t give the impression of credible research.
My point is the study conditions seem designed to produce a particular answer to her research question. Filtering to highly-educated affluent women seems like part of this strategy to tell a less complicated and less intersectional story that holds up religion as a cure for society’s problems.
