I was just making the comparison to Rita. A hurricane close on the heels of an historic one = more people will evacuate. My parents evacuated for Rita and were lucky to only get stuck in hours and hours of traffic to Dallas. But it was unnecessary bc Rita took a swing away from more populated areas.

I would add that in this instance the 'government' is just people. It's people who are working around the clock to clear roads, restore power lines, fly in resources... We can say more needs to be done without pretending that nothing is being done.

I went to urgent care today about a rash on my neck, something I would normally ignore and hope it goes away but we’re going to the UK in a week and I didn’t want to ruin our trip in case it was something serious. It’s a good thing I went, your girl has shingles. 🙃
