I'm starting to think that "mental illness" lets too many people off the hook. That young man was radicalized by online communities that are now celebrating his death. It's a great evil and Christians should be denouncing it.

Death is the enemy of God, and it is an ever present temptation to make a false peace with it from all sorts of seemingly well intentioned places
