The theft or defacement of library materials runs counter to the library's mission to ensure continuing access to the world's intellectual and cultural heritage, and will not be tolerated. Similarly misuse of library electronic resources, including the sharing of passwords or other access credentials, is not acceptable.

It's been two weeks since the Supreme Court decision about the Internet Archive's e-book lending and I can't find a statement from ALA, ACRL or ARL about it...? Does my domain really think this decision has no implications for our futures? That the missions we claim give us no responsibility here?
