I can't ride a bike (I wish I could, but hip, back and balance problems say no), but I fully support cycleways - every cyclist is a car not in front of me, and if they are properly separated, I don't have to worry about a cyclist wobbling in front of me. Cycleways are a massive win-win!

Exactly. The more people that can safely bike around, the better it is for people who want or need to drive. Plus it saves money on road maintenance, healthcare costs, climate change costs, pollution costs, and on and on.
