Must be a medieval history thing

I would second the Cambridge Elements series - not just because I’m co-writing one at the minute! The Senses and Emotions series has been really useful for me and good to point students too. They are a bit longer in the 20,000-30,000 word range though.

We need to teach a lot of stuff we don't know much about.
