Sure, my point is that all students can benefit from one on one teaching (alongside other teaching), because the point is to respond to what the student needs. and when people say otherwise it sound like they are dismissing our students as incapable. (Putting aside the cost of this)

I didn't see anyone suggesting that in reply to Margot's post, but more a statement that tutorials are not in and of themselves are somehow a gold standard. To uphold them as such does a tremendous disservice to the very good teaching that happens across the sector. 1/
