Editing advice: act like a toddler. Why? Why? WHY? Why is there a random scene with a dog? To establish the protagonist’s soft side. Why? Because she comes across as iron-hearted. Why? Because I don’t reveal how she feels in most scenes. Aha. Take out the random dog and give that woman feelings.
