The story of hurricanes Helene and Milton need to unequivocally be of a Republican party that denies climate change, takes political action to deliberately ignore or silence science, and defunds disaster relief. Remove every single one of them from office.
Reminder: Republicans in congress voted against additional funding for FEMA just days before Hurricane Helene hit. Who you vote for (or who you dont) matters. No politician is perfect or will fully align with you. Remove those doing the most harm and repeat.
