Whenever someone tries to claim that Y2K was "no big deal" and "just a big scare that came to nothing", thems fightin words for me. I did my time in the Y2K trenches making sure nothing happened.

i was one such as a youngin’ but have loooooong since learned it was indeed quite a serious thing! i think this was easy for me to believe bcz most of the stuff i used had been patched for it before i was aware of the problem!
