More people would vote early if we knew the texts would stop

My wife has been saying this since we voted last month! Like give us a code when we vote that we can punch in to block ads, and the election would be done by now!

At this point, I feel fairly confident that the texting dampens the vote and enthusiasm. I get so swamped I can barely communicate with my family and I can’t tell which might be scams and counterproductive.

I've never voted early in my life but I'm on texts for three states and 2 other people so not only am I voting early but I'm encouraging them to too

I was one of the first voters in the entire country here in Minnesota. I still get plenty of texts, although most of those ask for my out of state money rather than for my local vote.

I now respond "Stop and fuck off".
