Fixing a window is generally going to be a lot easier and cheaper than replacing a door. Alternatively if there’s an emergency release on the garage door track (red handle in photo), you could just cut a hole in the garage door high and towards the center and try to reach it.
Mine, facing the alley, sat open all night once because right before it closed it caught a weed and bent it down in the path of the safety sensor. I never turn my back on that stupid thing.
