Was I overly excited about Robocop being Hookman the first time I watched the episode? Yes. Yes, I was. But in my defense, it's pretty flipping cool.
And now I'm off work until the 21st because my roommate is having carpal tunnel surgery on Thursday and I decided to take a couple of days for myself.
Ha! Of course. If I'm taking myself out on a date, I'm going to be prepared.
The panel went well. Humor is my default and it got me through. I was blessed to be on it with some super cool people from Skokie as well as my director. Not bad for my first ILA conference. I hope I can stay longer next time.
Just think of it as something to look forward to when the power comes back. I'm glad you guys are okay and mostly unscathed.

Saturday's Apple and Pork Festival attendance is coming in at right around 50,000, but according to one of my friends, the number of antiquing queens checking in on Grindr is down from previous years.
