Since I read the Look Back manga, I didn’t cry at the same part in the movie, which worried me, but then whole conclusion about why even draw got me real good.

The natural state of humans is to help other humans. We are social animals, our DNA creates mechanisms in our body and brains to seek out others and work together. It’s why we make art, to connect with one another. Don’t let assholes fool you into thinking otherwise.

I go to a post-apocalypse festival in the desert every year and everyone is so damn excited to help people, offer their shade, food, and water to total strangers. The doom preppers were driven away because they couldn’t stand everyone looking out for each other.
