Watched Star Wars with oldest kid when she was about 5 & she was on the edge of the couch the whole time. She introduced younger sibling so did not get to repeat watching that level of amazement unfold but a decade or so later did with a neighbour's kid at about the same age & was again incredible.

I did not go to see Men in Black at the Owen Sound drive in but my daughter went with her best friend at age 10 and they re-enacted it for days at the cottage & 25 years later are still known as the Chicks in Purple.

Waited in line for hours to see Alien & talked to couple guys in line & ended up sitting behind them. My friend jumped out of his seat in scary part & kicked one in the head & when film ended I said "I bet this the last movie you see with us" but they didn't laugh & I have told that story 100 times.

Think that should be "few or no solutions", it being a matter of volume not scale.

Spent two years identifying & unwinding tech issues with little or no solutions. The new WP system/packages/sales hype led to increasingly frustrated students & in the end an enormous amount of time spent on tech issues with less left over for the actual content let alone the fun we once had.

That peaked in 2022 for whatever reason & the school.bought into.what was promoted as a user-friendly WP environment that eliminated the need for the backend work so non-developer students could just build and manage the sites & it was a nightmare. The hype did not match the reality.

In 2013 we moved the project to a WP site sanctioned by the university media school & digital comms students built it, with a term spent doing backend, but journalism & visual comms students could learn &use it in a few hours & teach me so I could assess, edit & even improve navigation.

Started supervising student web projects in 2012 when there would be 1 student in a class of 50+ who would have taught themselves WP in an era when the multimedia profs were teaching CMS via Dreamweaver. We were off-grid academically but the students created a lot of fun and some brilliant content.

Am following what you write about WP despite being unable to.delve into much, being a journalist and university instructor not developer. But it resonates with me.
