I think it’s important also to recognize what contributes to vitamin d deficiency - the pathway of transport and metabolism is almost completely dependent on magnesium cofactors. The driving force behind low D is often magnesium deficit which has profound health consequences. (🙋🏼♀️)
Most of the time, povidone or crospovidone is in the original formulation and generics are my only option (levothyroxine and more). Sometimes no options for a drug at all! (Metformin). I’ll look you up. Moving my content here bit by bit lol.
Excellent article. I feel very alone with this allergy. Most Tylenol and ibuprofen have it. ALL metformin options in Ontario. Synthroid. Recently I couldn’t use an eye drop which contained it.
