The presence of #MinCup #kyanite indicates high pressures during metamorphism which lead to the schist forming an excellent base for the tall (and heavy) skyscrapers in New York City. The depth to schist is cited as the cause of the gap in skyscrapers between Downtown and Midtown. 3/4
