Notably some of the same people criticizing The Substance as being bad for being âtooâ on the nose about misogyny and yet their glowing reception of Megalopolis tells me maybe Fargeat was too subtle about how insulted misogyny is in show business.
Very interesting how everyone deepthroating Megalopolis just conveniently forgot about Coppolaâs conduct towards female extras on set or the Salva stuff when thereâs literally a plot line about a rape accusation in the movie.
