The Wall Street Journal editorial board just realized—8 years after the Republican Party nominated (and voters elected) a crank and conspiracist president, and is now running him a 3rd time—that “a growing segment of the American right is populated by, and susceptible to, cranks and conspiracists.”
And now I must dutifully praise and amplify them for reaching a conclusion that’s been obvious for years, because only coming out of the Right does this realization stand ANY chance of changing “conservatives” minds. Sigh. Well: way to go, WSJ!
Now they need to understand they enabled and supported every bit of that and start trying to reverse the damage.
