Yes, I have to duck in a few places.
What are some not-really-infrastucture things the city (or a business) could do to make it easier for you to get around by bike? Or things that they already do that you like. My example: expanding the bike parking at the grocery store I go to.
"Here's a long bike lane. And here's another one over here. No one uses them! "Whats that between them?" "Oh, that's Murder Belch Road. 3km of six lanes of 60km/h traffic. Why?"
Half of why I made the channel was because 80% of the city's bike network is not obvious. It's parks and random signs. Like, you have to do some research to find it and then do test runs to know how to use it.
It's coming #BikeHfx! I've got another update from the NS Dept of Public Works chief engineer, via the area MLA (Ali Duale). I received some copy/pasted text late last week: "I am pleased to advise that staff has tendered and awarded the work to repair the concrete sidewalk..." 1/2
Just going to casually disable the main commuter path between Dartmouth and Downtown. As you do.
Bike probably hit it. Probably drunk!
ICYMI: I made a video about increasing capacity on a major suburban arterial. *and making it more bike accessible
