Some of what I'm getting for Xmas this year is stuff to making biking in the winter easier. It ranges from stuff I'll probably wear every day (glasses) to things that go in an emergency/Oh God I didn't check the weather bag (balaclava). But I mostly just wear gloves/jacket.

Zoning changes in cities such as Minneapolis have helped prompt new construction, but allowing more units on formerly single-family lots isn’t a panacea for housing shortages.
Ok, I think we've convincingly shown that bikes are more space efficient. This is becoming tiresome.
What are some not-really-infrastucture things the city (or a business) could do to make it easier for you to get around by bike? Or things that they already do that you like. My example: expanding the bike parking at the grocery store I go to.
It's coming #BikeHfx! I've got another update from the NS Dept of Public Works chief engineer, via the area MLA (Ali Duale). I received some copy/pasted text late last week: "I am pleased to advise that staff has tendered and awarded the work to repair the concrete sidewalk..." 1/2
