I read an absolutely lovely book on whale evolution by Hans Thewissen in which he had to spend far too much time taking apart Duane Gish's stupid arguments about how there's no such thing as evolution and whales proved it. Gish Galloping is pure dishonesty and needs good counter-strategies.

It is ridiculous that there is ever an agreement to not fact check. That is essentially saying they choose to allow one party to promote lies at the debate. Just awful
