It's so obvious to those of us that lived through it but kids really are incredibly hazy on when technology happened. They think email was invented in the 1700s and that I remember the first telephone call.
Our kids can't even remember dial up internet. Snail mail is sadly ancient history. 🐌👋

French teachers had to read in class a letter by a young resistant... Note from a standupper to the pupils "a letter is a sort of long SMS written on a piece of paper" :-)
Some of us still write letters, occasionally!
