Y'all, I have been trying to figure out FOR THE LIFE OF ME, HOW to find this. So, there is a specific feed for science and only some of us can post in it? How does this exactly work?

I attempted to make a Science News feed, server is currently down because of the influx from Brazil. @drandrewthaler.bsky.socialwww.southernfriedscience.com/a-quick-and-...

If you still need it, three lines top left > select “Feeds.” > “Find new feeds” search for “Science.” Top answer looks like what you’re after bossett.social . You can + to add it to the top of your home page (in addition to “Following” that’s already there). Apologies if you’ve already sorted it.

Here’s a link to the science feed, like what was mentioned in the post you quoted you can use the 🧪 emojis to get posts directly sent to the feed!

As to “how does it work,” the feed is a compilation of lists that are maintained by volunteers. Each of us has a pinned post (I do the chemistry feed) where we follow the linked credentials and verify users, then add them to our lists so their posts will be picked up by the main feed.
