I voted for the Green Party once, though it was for Nader. My wife stayed home that election. No big deal, it was just November 2000. In Florida. Decided by 537 votes. Just SCOTUS Roberts and Alito. Just wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. I don't vote third party anymore, once was bad enough.
So here the NYT could assign a couple of its crackerjack Trump diner breakfast reporters to asking Stein where her funding is coming from and looking a bit further into her finances. What happened to money from her last campaign?
Running for president is how she earns her income. She knows that she doesn't have a snowballs chance of ever being elected, but those donation dollars fill up the bank account nicely.
